Job Description

Brief position description: The purpose of this requirement is to provide academic instruction and expertise in the overall design, development, execution and delivery of Client’s academic instructor responsibilities for the Functional Mission Analysis for Cyber (FMA-C) Course which is a 5-day course of instruction that currently consist of 1,000 students, 25 class offerings and conduct post assessments on training. The AFCC mission “Teaching” focus area requires an experienced instructor as well as academic operations management. The operations planning and academic operations management expertise will directly ensure the AFCC updates and executes the FMA-C course to comply with Secretary of Air Force – Chief Information Officer (SAF/CIO) direction. Additionally, the Instructor Supervisor and Trainer/Evaluator will provide academic instructions and expertise in the overall design, development, execution, and delivery of FMA- C. The instructor supervisor will also oversee the management and training of new instructors and provide current instructors with refresher training as needed.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree

Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
  • Must have experience supervising instructors.
  • Must have experience with writing and editing material at an academic level.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite or perform at that level of proficiency.
  • Must have experience with on-line instruction to include in resident instruction.
  • Must be qualified to instruct using state of the art academic methods from a relevant field of study.

Minimum Years of Experience
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in academic instruction (minimum 3 years).

Preferred knowledge/Skills/Experience:
  • Air Force experience
  • Experience with Functional Mission Analysis for Cyber training as a student or instructor
