Technical Project Manager - 23331 Our client provides the first Digital Experience AI Platform that combines a global device infrastructure, test automation, and ML-driven analytics. It is a start-up with solid funding and an excellent vision. Currently, they are looking to hire talented people and providing the opportunity to grow with them. They are currently in need of a Technical Project Manager to join them remotely. Purpose of the position: The Technical Project Manager is a critical client-facing team member of their implementation team. They are looking for a detail-oriented Technical PM to lead, oversee, and execute project operations from inception to execution. The Technical PM is responsible for defining the scope of work and enforcing delivery deadlines internally and externally. You must be highly organized with a strong engineering background and use skills such as customer management, presentations, project management, technical, and professional experience with DevOps technology to ensure the successful implementation of complex and large-scale projects. Job Responsibilities Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to Company standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
- Provide guidance and best practices and thought leadership when addressing client challenges internally and externally.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical customer onboarding issues, communicate and collaborate with product and engineering teams on issues, features, and tasks.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 4-6 years of experience as a client-facing SaaS implementation project manager PMP or PMI-ACP certified helpful
- The project skillset should be in the software and mobile application space
- Experienced in managing different complexities of projects
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems
- Experience with open-source testing and Automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, XCUiTest, Espresso/UIAutomator, etc.) and methodology and principles of test automation
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools
- Technology background is a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities to facilitate extensive interactions across the organization and with multiple customers and third-party partners.
