Description
The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse assumes principles responsibility for total care of assigned clients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
The nurse is responsible assessment, reassessment, and establishment of nursing diagnosis, formulation of the written plan of nursing care, implementation and evaluation of care.
The nurse provides education of the client / family as required while supporting and fostering the goals of Vaughan Regional Medical Center and Cardiac Services Department.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to the patient population with consideration to age specificity and diagnosis.
Minimum Education
x Associate’s degree Preferred x Required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
