FORECLOSURE & MORTGAGE DEFAULT SERVICING FELLOWSHIP

Alabama, Tuscaloosa 00000 Tuscaloosa USA

Vacancy expired!

Activist Legal LLP is a Washington, D.C. based law firm that provides foreclosure and mortgage default services for non-performing loans and assets directly to private investor and mortgage servicer clients in the District of Columbia, and through relationships with local counsel in the remaining 50 states, plus Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Activist Legal is currently seeking licensed attorneys in Alabama to participate in its Foreclosure & Mortgage Default Servicing fellowship program to help meet the anticipated exponential growth in demand for such services over the next 2-3 years as a result of the current economic recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participating attorneys will receive training and mentorship at no cost and can commit to the fellowship program as their time and desire permit. Our training will focus on the practical business side of building a foreclosure and mortgage default servicing practice, as well as the substantive law around loss mitigation, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, bankruptcy litigation, REO closings, post-foreclosure evictions actions, title examination and curative services, collection-related litigation, and general litigation support.

As part of our fellowship program, client files will be referred by Activist Legal to fellowship participants with the support and oversight of experienced attorneys. Participants will be paid an escalating percentage of legal fees earned for services provided.

This is a remote, contract opportunity for licensed attorneys looking to build / grow their practice.
