Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking highly motivated individuals to be a part of our new Site Reliability Engineering Team.

This team will help support the broader vision of the Enterprise by enabling cultural and digital transformation. Individuals will begin by first working with more senior team members to learn the technology, tools, and processes to implement SRE principles. The individual will then become a part of consulting team that is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the efficiency of infrastructure as well as the improving reliability, and scalability of our IT services and products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with teams to modernize application environments, supporting improvement of reliability and modernize architecture• Follow DevSecOps processes to develop and release new features and capabilities• Participate in Lean Inception events to collaboratively identify and prioritize work• Troubleshoot existing systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develop solutions• Support applications and platforms that require high uptime• Implement monitoring and alerting schemes to detect and notify when performance thresholds are not being met

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or related Engineering disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of experience as Software Developer or related field; 0 years of experience required with a Master's degree.•• Experience using programming, such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using monitoring, logging, and visualization tools• Experience using configuration management frameworks (e.g. Ansible/Chef/Puppet)• Experience working with infrastructure, such as servers and networking• Hands-on knowledge of Docker technologies• Demonstrated Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps Principles• Experience working in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Salary Range: $92,000 USD - $138,000 USD

Salary Range 2: $74,200 USD - $111,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
