Preference will be given to local candidates Please reply with an updated resume in Microsoft Word format JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, this position supports the implementation of the clients global Supply Chain IT solution “AmSupply” business processes and acts as the interface to the local IT project team to ensure all required processes are in line with local supply chain requirements. The position will lead and support work packages, maintain communication with Supply Chain and IT organizations, analyze and improve business processes, develop system requirements documents, manage requests for new system processes, and provide system testing support. Duties and responsibilities Support and advise the internal customer.Form an effective interface between the business department and IT by consulting with business manager to develop solutions to meet business needs.Understand the IT service catalogue and other technology trends in order to offer recommendations and solutions that meet the business needs as appropriate.Define the value and business benefits of services and identify opportunities for business process improvements based on the catalogue.Serve as facilitator between the Business and IT networks by identifying and utilizing synergies across the Supply Chain and IT organizations.Support the business requirement specification process.Conduct research, data collection, analysis and synthesis to prepare, present and deliver recommendations and solutions to Supply chain management.Ensure that documentation relating to business processes is accurate, complete and maintained.Coordinate and/or conduct all types of application testing as needed.Support IT in coordinating all integration-testing with end users.Coordinate and participate in development of structured walk-throughs (system demonstrations and training) to the users.Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of the AmSupply application and all aspects related to business functional units supported. Keep up with industry trends in supported business units and related disciplines.Execute special project requests as required. Professional Experience A minimum of three years’ of relevant professional experience in the following area(s):- Supply Chain function working with SAP, material transfer movements, and/or material flow issues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (testing to be conducted on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Working knowledge of current SAP ERP system
- Working knowledge of AM Supply and Mobsy
