Must be able to lift bicycles on and off high ceiling hooks.
Must be honest, positive, attentive, and resourceful.
Excellent communication skills and a sense of humor are necessary while thinking on your feet under pressure as multiple people/groups simultaneously rent and return bikes.
Duties include greeting customers (mostly tourists), suggesting a suitable rental bike, filling out forms and collecting payment. Must know southcentral bike trails and be able to succinctly explain to visitors how to navigate them. Also must explain how Flattop Mountain Shuttle service works and take reservations for it.
Other duties include cleaning bikes, selling bikes, selling accessories, parts, jerseys, and t-shirts. Solid knowledge of how bikes work and how to make at least basic repairs and adjustments.
