Hello,
We are launching an Arctic Education Kids E-Magazine in January and we are looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about education, the Arctic, and youth to become apart of our Anchorage Ambassador team. For now this will be an unpaid part-time 90% telecommute internship position, but as we grow this year, we will be creating paid positions and be looking at our Ambassadors first to fill them.
Duties will include:
Assistance with fundraising campaigns
Securing Advertising Sales.
Growing Online Readership Community
Growing our Educator Community
Social Media Marketing
Fun Content Writing
Magazine Formatting and Editing
Customer Service
Setting up speaking events to promote magazine.
What we are looking for:
Strong people skills
Strong ethics
A passion for educating kids about the Arctic
Self drive (this is a 90% telecommute opportunity)
Strong writing/editing skills
Sense of humor, positive, and fun loving personality (we want to have fun with this project).
Responsibility and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work well in a team.
Good communication skills.
Able to get college credit for the internship.
