DescriptionDescriptionEssential Duties

Compile and analyze financial information to reconcile GL accounts and prepare journal entries.

Reconcile bank accounts and perform daily banking activities.

Collect data and maintain ownership of preparing federal, state, and local tax returns.

Oversee corporate card administration, manage payroll workflows, and assist in streamlining vendor management processes.

Maintain and enhance accounting controls while always looking for ways to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Assist with gathering documentation for internal and external audits, making the process as smooth as possible.

Jump in on ad-hoc reports and projects, helping the finance team tackle whatever comes our way.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, or equivalent is required

Two to seven (2-7) years of accounting or other relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)

CPA or similar accreditation (bonus points)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven experience with accounting principles (GAAP), general ledger tasks, and month/year-end close processes. Netsuite experience is a plus!

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (we’re talking mastery over vlookups and Pivot Tables).

Excellent communication and organizational skills — you can balance multiple priorities and keep others in the loop without missing a beat.

Working EnvironmentThis role is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Based primarily in a professional office setting equipped with standard equipment, this role will also engage with operations in areas such as warehouses, yards, and shops.
