Position Responsibilities Include: Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. F-22 Low Observable Coating Maintenance. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g. repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Works under general direction. Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime and travel internationally on short term notification. Regularly required to lift up to35 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist. Required Qualifications: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship 3 years or more fighter aircraft maintenance experience Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice Must be willing to workvariable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts. Regularly required to lift up to35 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist. Preferred Qualifications: A current active Secret U. S. Security Clearance F-22 maintenance experience F-22 experience in Low Observable Coatings applications Military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15) experience Typical Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
