The Network Services Project Manager III.and.nbsp;is responsible for leading multiple concurrent projects to completion and follows project management methodology to initiate, plan, execute, control and close out projects. Project responsibilities include reviewing project requirement, design documents, business validation and post-launch support. Plan, coordinate, implement, and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines while keeping the project within budget. Manage projects from the planning stage through implementation, testing, reporting and project closure.The Project Manager will manage a wide variety of engineering projects related to the company s Cloud Services Infrastructureand.nbsp; Projects will involve all engineering disciplines involved in the deployment of a commercial cloud platform, including facility construction, equipment installations, virtualization platforms and parts of the OSS/BSS stack.Essential Duties of a Project Manager: Oversee and manage a disciplined team within the business unit/groupsDefine project scopes, manage, and participate in procurement of materialsDevelop and maintain project budgets and schedules.Manage Contracts and outside consultants and contractorsMaintain and ensure complete documentation of projects.Manage personnel resources, consultants and contractors.Develop and maintain project budgets; project. The company and its subsidiaries operate in a 24/7 environment providing critical services to Alaskans and may need to respond to public health and safety matters or other business emergencies. Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the normal business hours to respond to the immediate emergency.
