Need an EXPERIENCED North Slope camp housekeeper to help finish off the spring construction season until the end of April. Must be reliable, hardworking and able to work independently on your feet for long periods of time. Standard slope schedule: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week while on site. Pay depends on previous experience.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Daily cleaning of public areas, restrooms and dining areas
-Making beds, cleaning rooms and changing linens according to the camp needs and schedule
-Complete laundry (wash/dry/fold/maintain linens), remove trash, vacuum and dusting as needed
-Maintaining proper inventory of cleaning supplies and products
-Billeting/record keeping/timecards
Qualifications Desired:
-Minimum 1-year professional housekeeping experience
-Prefer previous remote work / rotational schedule job experience
-Ability to follow directions and work at times without direct supervision
-High School diploma or GED required
-Good communication skills - ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
-Experience with cleaning chemicals and demonstrated ability to use them in a safe, efficient manner
-Ability to get along well with co-workers and adherence to high standards of customer service
All candidates will be required to complete a comprehensive pre-hire fit-for-duty and drug & alcohol test, and will be subject to random on-site testing. If you cannot pass a pee test, please don't apply.
