JOB: Frontier Safety & Supply is in need of a part time CPR &AED; First Aid instructor. We have an Anchorage Training Center on the corner of Lake Otis & Tudor where most classes are held. Hours can vary, Saturday and evening trainings are needed most, some weekdays are available. Availability to travel in Anchorage and/or throughout AK is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: any of the following is helpful CPR/First Aid Instructor, Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, EMT, Paramedic, Trauma experience, Physician, Survival skills/instruction, work and/or play in the arctic, construction, safety instruction, hazwoper, OSHA knowledge/training, confined space, etc. No instructor certification required, but is a very helpful. We can certify you to be an instructor.
Must be professional, punctual, knowledgable and friendly. A non-compete contract will be required to be signed.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Employment status can be as an employee or as a contractor with a liability insurance policy. Resume, reference, criminal background, and sex offender checks will be conducted.
