OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN & SCRIBE
SOUTHSIDE EYE CLINIC SEEKS CERTIFIED OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN (COA)
Responsibilities:
1. Take patients histories and hear their concerns
2. Screen patients with diagnostic equipment
3. Explain tests and procedures
4. Understand scheduled eye procedures & surgeries
5. Scribe for the doctors on electronic pads like Surface Provery important
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. At least two years experience in scribing
3. Professional certification such as COA
4. Must be detail oriented and organized
5. Good attendance
6. Must be able to patiently explain things
7. Experience with gas perm & soft contact lenses would be a plus
