Full Job Description
Anchorage Sleep Center is seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator for our busy medical office. We are a full-service sleep disorders center dedicated to serving the community with unparalleled patient care. Our staff is devoted to providing knowledge, caring, and understanding to all of our patients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Welcome visitors, check patients in/out.
Assist patients with completing paperwork and documents when required.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Answer multi-line phones and emails in a professional manner. ยท
Process incoming faxes, including referrals, reports and requests for medical records.
Complete data entry in relevant systems.
Dispense home sleep testing equipment, DME supplies and accessories when needed.
Perform routine clerical tasks, including retrieving charts, clearing voicemail and fax messages or re-routing calls
Maintain a professional, organized and tidy office, assist with managing office supply inventory.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum one year experience in medical reception position
Prior scheduling experience within a specialty or multi-disciplinary clinic
Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
Experience collecting patient fees
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, Internet
Work Hours: TUESDAY - SATURDAY, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation: DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
