Our ASP Program Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing after school programming for girl membership based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This is a part-time position. The Program Specialist will work 5-6 hours a week over 3 days between the hours of 3:00-5:30pm. The position is located in the Matanuska Susitna Valley and will run programs in both Palmer and Wasilla schools. The pay for this position starts at $10 per hour.
You Are:
Committed to the policies and mission of the Girl Scout organization and willing to become a member of Girl Scouts
Interested and experienced working with youth programming
Able to demonstrate initiative, make sound decisions, and carry out a multifaceted workload
Able to show strong attention to detail
Understanding of and committed to organizational diversity
Able to work independently without continual direct supervision
Able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs
You Need:
High school diploma
Valid Alaska driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass annual national criminal background check including a check of the National Sex Offender Registry
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
