Full-time Secretary assistant / Office for a local construction/roofing company.
Two years of experience in an office position is preferable
Pay: $15 - $25/ hr depending on experience
Duties:
- Serve as point of contact: screen internal and customer phone calls and redirect as appropriate
- Provides clerical assistance, which may include typing, copying, filing, and record-keeping
- Draft proposals
- Processes invoices, payroll, purchase orders, expense reports and maintains organized records
- Posts job listings, oversees resumes, and conducts phone-screenings/ interviews for qualified candidates
- Assists with procurement of permits
- Reviews general contracts for pertinent information and coordination with accounts payable
- Compiles and distributes weekly/monthly reports
- Maintains and orders supplies and/or materials ensuring availability for upcoming jobs
Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, scanner, copier and projectors,
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency and experience in working with Microsoft business software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to also use Quickbooks
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate well in English both written and verbally
- Valid state issued driver’s license
