In your role as the Data Administrator for Pacific Alaska Wholesale (PAW), a wholesale arm of The North West Company International (NWCI), you are responsible for entering and maintaining product data, and other system data as needed by the Business Analyst. The data administrator must understand and validate each data source and develop conversions to ensure incoming data meets internal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) conventions and standards.

Your Role:

Enter, update and maintain product information from internal and external sources;

Ensure source data conforms to internal ERP data conventions and standards and develop conversions when necessary;

Enter, update and maintain product pricing brackets. Routinely report and audit pricing against received costs to ensure pricing is accurate;

Enter, update, and maintain vendor/customer deals and routinely audit to ensure deal information is correct;

Track discontinued products and source appropriate product substitutions. Update product statuses within the ERP and report to business stakeholders;

Track and report all product recalls to internal stakeholders;

Provide general technical support and information related to products, vendors, pricing, and other basic system data to business stakeholders;

Maintain vendor contact information and regularly communicate with vendors on data QC/QA issues.

Desired Skills & Experience:

One year of office experience, preferably in a retail or wholesale grocery environment;

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required;

Experience with inventory management preferred but not required;

Proficient in Microsoft Excel;

Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines;

Ability to think analytically;

Ability to manage multiple priorities;

Ability to remain calm under pressure;

Take multiple phone calls and attend meetings on a daily/weekly basis;

Lift 25+ pounds;

Requires some overtime and night and weekend work; hours may be somewhat flexible; and

Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment; primarily computer work; able to sit or stand in one place for long periods of time.
