Introduction:
CXT Software, a leader in providing automation technology to expedited delivery and distribution
businesses, is seeking a DevOps Engineer. A successful candidate will exhibit knowledge in
provisioning, maintaining, and automating a Microsoft Azure environment. At CXT Software, the
DevOps team is responsible for the entire company and Cloud infrastructure. We are seeking
candidates with strong communication skills, ability to quickly learn the environment, and jump right into open projects. This will be an exciting opportunity to join a growing company in an expanding industry to help cultivate stable and ever-growing cloud services offerings.

What will you do:
Using the SCRUM framework, complete tickets as they are assigned
Be on-call 24/7 to assist with any emergencies that arise due to infrastructure related issues
Migrate, provision, and teardown resources as required
Work on a team with other DevOps team members to resolve problems, cross-train, and provide coverage in the event of absence
Using the resources available to the team, create automated processes to enhance the company operations and cloud services
Response and resolve issues with expediency
Constantly working towards a 99.9% uptime throughout the year
Required Skills:
Applicants must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively in a remote work environment
Expert knowledge of modern Windows Server versions
Intermediate knowledge of Azure SQL
Candidate must have a suitable working location at home that is free from distractions and is equipped with dependable broadband internet access
Ability to learn continuously, you will be expected to fill any environmental/tool knowledge gaps within 90 days
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of DevOps practices, principles, and workflows
PowerShell experience (Testing conducted during the interview process)
Experience using Visual Studio Code and GIT flows
2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following languages: JavaScript, PHP, .Net Core
Experience with Active Directory/Group Policy
Transact SQL knowledge
