Position Summary The Corporate Account Advocate is responsible for not only delivering a product but are expected to establish and preserve long lasting business relationships that support growth for both Big Rays and our customers. The Account Advocate maintains an open line of communication between Big Rays and the client company and provides prompt responses to all inquiries and concerns. The Account Advocate works closely with the Sales Manager to ensure the needs of the client company are being addressed in a timely manner. The goal of the Corporate Account Advocate should be to provide a level of service that stands out above our competitors.
Essential Functions
Remain committed and accountable for the delivery of exceptional customer service
Lead by example in a positive and encouraging way that results in team participation, empowers individuality and promotes productivity
Serve as a liaison between outside company contact representatives and Big Rays in regards to creating and fulfilling orders, preparing quotations, and fulfilling special requests
Maintain excellent communication with fellow workers, embroidery department, buyers, and leadership
Work closely with the Sales Manager on account changes and/or to resolve concerns or complaints
Continually look for opportunities to suggest new or replacement product that would benefit the client company
Seek referrals for new business from other business units within the larger client company
Maintain accurate records of all client company standard operating procedures (SOP) with Big Rays
Adhere to the Customer Service Standards established for the department
Adhere to the Merchandise Presentation Standards established for the department
Consistently attempt to have all available sizes represented on the sales floor by reporting the voids to Merchandise Support Specialist, as well as participate in restocking such items as necessary
Ensure customer orders are moving through the fulfillment process in a consistent and timely manner
Perform End of Day procedures in O&F
Protect the companys value and integrity by maintaining confidentiality
Other duties as necessary and/or assigned

Years of experience: Two years customer service experience desired

Physical Demands

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to: operate a vehicle safely, stand or sit for long periods of time, lift up to 40 lbs., and climb a flight of stairs. The position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, ability to read from a monitor and/or paper for most of the work day, and ability to communicate both in person and on the phone on a regular basis.
Work Environment
This position is performed in dynamic, fast-paced retail setting fulfilling large corporate orders with the offices located adjacent to the sales floor. The employee will occasionally be on the retail floor among clothing and related fixtures, among embroidery machines with moving parts and sharp objects, and in the warehouse among boxes of clothing and customer records. Nights and/or weekend availability is required. This position also may occasionally require attendance at major networking events and/or
tradeshows that may or may include evenings and weekends.
