Coastal Television Broadcasting LLC is looking for a full time Operations Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager through a variety of tasks.
Job duties and tasks include (but are not limited to):
Commercial and Promo Ingestion. Involves data entry through our traffic system. Downloading and checking quality of video files (sound, video, and length) using non-linear editing software, before being uploaded for playback on-air. Attention to detail is a must.
Gathering local video and sound. Working knowledge of Cannon and JVC professional grade cameras and equipment including; wireless mics, lights, and any other equipment needed to gather video and sound. Must have strong communication skills and a clean driving record.
Running video / audio cables and making cables (SDI, ethernet, XLR, etc).
Inspect station vehicles, schedule maintenance, and general cleaning.
Facility management including changing light bulbs, hanging ceiling tile, cleaning air filters and equipment, grounds maintenance, shoveling walkways, spreading ice melt / gravel, and general housekeeping duties as needed.
