The Relationship Manager I will primarily be responsible for consulting with members to identify needs, refer appropriate products/solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. Meeting and exceeding performance goals and revenue targets will be part of their Minimum Performance Standards. It will also be their responsibility to identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity.

The Relationship Manager I will perform a wide variety of duties related to handling member transactions including but not limited to; opening and closing all types of deposit and loan accounts (including HELOCS), posting deposits, withdrawals, and loan/VISA payments, performing account transfers, recommending other products and services, and any kind of account maintenance. All transactions are expected to be completed accurately and in a timely manner to ensure the Credit Union Member Service goals are achieved. The Relationship Manager I position profiles the member’s account to recommend product and service solutions including Investment Services, Insurance Products, First Mortgages, and car buying service.

This role’s primary focus is the member experience. The Relationship Manager I is expected to represent NuVision Federal Credit Union in a positive and professional manner. They are to show mutual respect while working and collaborating with others to build strong relationships both internally and externally. The Relationship Manager I must maintain confidentiality with member information, pay attention to detail, demonstrate sound judgment, and act with tact and diplomacy.Responsibilities: Hold “Conversations that Matter” with members either in person or over the phone to identify their needs, offer solutions, and follow up on any pending transactions.

Input, process, and fund all consumer loan types: Closed-end Signature, LOC, VISA, Automobile, Personal, Toy, RV, HELOCS, and Other Secured.

Recommend products and services such as ancillary products as needed through holding “Conversations that Matter” with members.

Places calls from various call reports with the intent to garnish more business. This can be done during the workday and during scheduled monthly call nights.

Open all new Member Accounts (Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA).

Complete all appropriate forms such as Account Cards, Certificate Application and Agreement, Trust Application and Agreement, Certificate of Trust, etc.

Perform a wide variety of account maintenance including but not limited to; changes of address, name change, adding/updating/closing accounts, adding/updating joint owners, adding/updating beneficiaries, processing deceased accounts, and notary services.

Identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity.

Completes all required training and compliance modules.

Contribute to the achievement of departmental and individual objectives and goals by participating in Continuous Improvement Activities and NuVision events such as: Car Sales, Open House, Open Enrollment.

Maintain confidentiality with all sensitive information.

Treats all colleagues and members with respect.

Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.

Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications:12/mo prior loan experience and reaching service and performance goals.

Working knowledge of deposit/loan products (Trust, IRA, certificates, loans/Loans PQ–decisions system).

Proven ability to garner business.

Proficiency in the operations of a PC and the capability to work efficiently in Microsoft Office Suites.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone.

Member service and organizational skills.

Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs.

Willingness to make a difference.

Genuine, caring interest in helping members through empathetic “Conversations that Matter”.

Successful completion of all compliance related coursework.
