Civil Engineer - Water/Wastewater

RESPEC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer located in our Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage, AK or Rapid City, SD locations.The Engineer will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers/EITs in preparing professional work products, including water and wastewater utility design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting. Additional responsibilities include:Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve our clients’ technical challengesDevelop project designs, plan drawings, engineering reports, technical specifications, and other contract deliverablesTrack project progress within established project scopes, budgets, and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect themSupport other market sectors on design projects as workload dictatesPrepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetingsPresent design projects, as required, as part of outreach to clients and the publicConduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new work
