CAKE DECORATOR
REPORTS TO: General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Responsible for making and decorating cakes to Cold Stone Creamery standards and supporting the store during operating hours.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Our crew members must be bright, outgoing, personable, and show a willingness to go the extra mile to provide the Ultimate Ice Cream Experience® for each and every customer. Weve got a smooth-running team behind the counter, so youll have to work well with others, always communicating in a positive manner with managers and co-workers.
Ices, decorates, packages, and labels ice cream cakes
Fills customer special cake orders
Sells products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
Follows Cold Stones guidelines for cake decorating and maintains Cold Stones high standards for product freshness and sanitation.
Organizes and rotates cake stock in the display and other freezers.
Trains other crew members as needed
Represents Cold Stone Creamery® in a professional, positive manner at all times.
Maintains store equipment in full working order and communicates problems immediately to Manager.
Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of cake decorating
Current or ability to obtain food handler certification
Comfortable working a fast-pace environment
Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
Ability to work well with others as a team member
Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
