Miguel's Authentic Mexican Cuisine is looking to hire a new team member to join our cooking staff.
Candidates should have kitchen experience, including working a hot line, fryer and grill but we are willing to train someone who is motivated to learn. This is fast pace during lunch and dinner and a positive attitude is a must.
We cook authentic Mexican food along with some American favorites.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the owner.
Daily Specials.
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
Alaska Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one upon employment.
Able to meet all scheduling commitments.
Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs with willingness to communicate with team members.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to judge quality and quantity of raw and cooked items.
Ability to work independently, in a team environment and with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
This is a full-time morning to afternoon position but hours may vary.
Pay is Depending on Experience.
