Its that time of year again! The snow is falling, the temps are staying below freezing, and we already have agood base built up.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing, personable applicants to be our Lift Operators for the 2019/2020 season.
This is an outdoor position that is exposed to the elements. Working conditions may be in sub-zero temperatures, snow, wind, sun, or a combination of many weather elements.
Task include, but are not limited too;
Safely helping guest load and unload the chairlift and magic carpet.
Helping young guests, including picking them up to place on the chairlift.
Checking tickets and passes to make sure every guest has a valid lift ticket or season pass before loading.
Keeping the load and unload areas raked for safe loading and unloading.
Clearing the magic carpet of snow.
Answering guest questions about Ski Land.
Assisting Ski Patrol and Ski Team on occasion.
Some lift operators may use company snowmachines.
Additional non-lift related tasks may include;
Helping lodge staff clear decks of snow.
Setting up our parking lot for Skiing in the mornings.
Setting up our parking lot for Aurora Viewing in the Evening.
Directing guests where to park.
Emptying trash cans.
Applicant Requirements;
18 years old or older
Reliable transportation
Ability to stand for long periods of time outdoors
Be able to lift up to 100 lbs on occasion
We are a weekend-only resort and as such require our employees to work both Saturdays and Sundays all season (mid-November to late April). This includes all holidays and school breaks. Occasionally we are open on weekdays during school breaks and strongly prefer applicants who can work during these breaks.

$1/hr end of season bonus
This positions pays $14/hr and is for Saturday and Sundays starting at 8:30am. More days may become available as the season progresses.
