VoIP Systems Engineer (Secret Clearance) North Pole, AK (Surrounding Areas) Onsite work is required, Applicants must live, or re-locate to an area commutable to the client location Long-Term Contract $75-85/hour Job Description: Our client is seeking a strong senior level VoIP Systems Support Specialist - aka a Voice Engineer 'Resident Systems Support Specialist' (we're calling this an RS3) This person will be responsible for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) on-site support and trainingfor a 1-year period. The onsiteSystems Support Specialist is responsible to provide technical assistance and maintaining VoIP system performance ensuring sound voice communications for US Army bases in/around the Pacific Rim areas. Duties/Responsibilities:- Designing, installing, managing, maintaining and troubleshooting the VoIP network systems and supportmaintenance personnel.
- Providing technical assistance to maintain VoIP network system performance to applicable areas such as:basic data, voice and, VoIP components, and all subsequent phases/additions implemented
- 5 years' experience managing and troubleshooting VoIP systems
- 3 years' experience on DoD networks
- Require Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Configuring trustpoints and installing SSL Certs, Ability to troubleshoot SRTP audio issues, Understanding of Cisco VG450 Analog Gateways
- Using Encrypted SCCP/SRTP configuration and troubleshooting
- Understanding ofAnalog wiring and cabling to the VG450
- Configuring trustpoints and installing SSL Certs
- Uderstanding and creating CSRs and installing SSL Certificates
- Solid understanding of VLANs and IP Addressing
- Switching
- LAN Cabling
- Cisco CCNP Collaboration [Must-Have]
- Cisco CCNA and/or CCIE [Nice to have)
