Alaska Resources & Environmental Services is looking for the following select individual(s) to be a valuable and integral part of our team. Both seasonal and full-time positions are available. Positions are based in Fairbanks, Alaska.

We provide environmental consulting services to industry and private clients to include conducting Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Release Investigations, UST closures, spill response, hydrology assessments, multi- media sampling and preparation of Corrective Action Work Plans, SWPPP, EWP, HMCP, SPCC, SAP-QAPP/UFP-QAPP and SSSHP’s.

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a science related field (geology, chemistry, biology, engineering etc.).

In addition, we are seeking individuals with the following character traits (or at least a majority) as follows:

1) Independent thinker who is able to problem solve yet has a team member mentality that willingly finds value in others as well as themselves.

2) Highly energetic (with or without coffee).

3) Motivated to learn, teach, and excel in their area of expertise.

4) Computer literate and tech savvy.

5) Youthful in mind and spirit and mature in thought and emotions.

6) Inquisitive, engaging, diligent, persistent, self-confident, intelligent, forward thinking, and creative.

7) Possess strong scientific and technical writing skills.

8) Ability to effectively communicate with staff, clients, and regulators.

9) Willingness to work long hours (typically summer months) and sometimes in exotic, remote locations throughout Alaska.

10) Experience in the environmental field and knowledge of ADEC regulations helpful but not mandatory.
