AGS has been processing and shipping high quality, wild caught fresh and frozen seafood since 1996. AGS processes Halibut, Salmon, Rockfish, True Cod, Blackcod, Sea Cucumbers, Crab and Shrimp, which is packaged and shipped worldwide. Job Description ><>
Our Delivery / Driver acts as our company liaison for our local deliveries. They are the associate who interacts with our local customers consistently. This is a fast paced job that will change directions quickly, according to our customers needs. One day you may be driving, delivering, and shopping; and the next day you may be stocking and filing paperwork. The perfect candidate must be flexible and enjoy a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities ><>
Complete Local Deliveries several times a week.
Complete Airport Deliveries several times a week.
Maintain the Propane Cage, ensuring it is filled at all times.
Fill Employee Vending Machine daily, multiple times if needed.
Shopping for supplies for office, employees, and barge.
Shop, organize, and box all materials for barge.
Communicate and organize departure of barge supplies with Dock Supervisor.
Manage Ice Money
Bank Deposits
Mail runs
Ensure both office company vehicles are clean.
Ensure both cars have fuel daily.
Update price of bait and stock in freezers.
Assist with front office paperwork as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications ><>
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred (18 years or older).
Current Alaska Driver License with clean record.
Training / Skills:
Acts with honesty and integrity
Ability to organize and plan
Quickly solve problems
Multi-tasking
Attention to detail
Proficient in English, both verbal and written
Proficient in basic Mathematics
Basic knowledge in computers, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
Ability to be Forklift Certification a plus
