This centralized organization applies data and analytics across the phases of our commercialization process: pipeline and business development, commercial strategy development and ecosystem engagement. The HHIAD team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring and interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics.The HHIAD organization comprises market research, forecasting, advanced analytics and data groups, all with their own operational and financial needs. In addition, HHIAD uses several external vendors to deliver analytical and data services. One of the strategic objectives for HHIAD is to enhance its operational excellence and financial management and vendor program management capabilities. To that end, the leader of HHIAD Operational Excellence & Vendor Program Management will be a member of and work in partnership with the HHIAD leadership team and be responsible for 1. Operational Excellence Management, 2. Financial Management, and 3. Vendor Management.The preferred candidate will need financial acumen, attention to detail, and an understanding of the analytics value chain. This role will require interfacing and collaborating with many analytics teams and other internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication skills are a must. Prior business management experience within an analytics organization is desirable.Primary Responsibilities:Operational Excellence

Define a coherent set of metrics each for Human Health Leadership, HHIAD Leadership and at the HHIAD sub-group level

Oversee the development of a web-based dashboard to effectively report metrics

Develop a standardized process to collect metrics on a regular basis

Lead the ongoing review of HHIAD operational metrics against targets to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement

Follow up on identified issues against targets to support decision making

Financial Management

Lead the development and iteration process for HHIAD budgets and forecast cycles

Partner with the Finance department to identify, install, and lead the appropriate financial practices, across HHIAD leadership, to create transparency and easy administration

Execute the consolidation of HHIAD budgets into a structure that allows for operational excellence and transparency in driving decision making aligned to HHIAD strategy

Establish governance forums, to identify opportunities for efficiencies across collaboration partners and organizations to identify duplicative spend, and co-funding opportunities

HHIAD Vendor Program Management

Analyze and categorize the current use of analytical and data services globally

Develop and execute a HHIAD Preferred Vendor Program across all global HHIAD functions

Partner with both Finance and Procurement departments to align on framework

Review ongoing spend against key transformation objectives to capture efficiencies and impact

Own and drive the ongoing interactions with the ecosystem of HHIAD Vendor ecosystem to ensure accountability and adoption of framework.

Required Experience and Skills:BA/BS (preferably in Math, Statistics or a related field)

10+ years of experience in analytics business management

Ideally prior Finance functional experience

Strong analytical skills to summarize and synthesize financial data

Excellent project management skills to manage several stakeholders across HHIAD, Finance, Procurement and external vendors

Excellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a complex matrix environment

Ability to manage teams locally and remote teams across time-zones

Ability to lead meetings with senior HHIAD leaders during metrics or budget reviews

Strong oral and written communication skills to convey key messages of work

Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently with minimum direction

Proven leadership and influencing skills, along with good analytical / problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with diverse groups of work colleagues

Preferred Experience and Skills:Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry knowledge
