The Global Marketing Manager (Gasboy) is responsible for driving profitable growth of the Alternative Fuels (‘Alt Fuels’) business platform, specifically leading on diverse marketing and communications activities focused on demand generation and brand awareness for the Gasboy commercial refueling solutions business.This hands on role is responsible for translating Gasboy’s strategic growth initiatives into a compelling marketing plan, working agilely across different marketing channels and media to reach target audiences, build brand awareness, and generate quality leads.As part of the Alternative Fuels Marketing Team, the Global Marketing Manager also plays a crucial role in promoting Vontier’s integrated and sustainable fleet mobility solutions, working with internal and external stakeholders to shape and broadcast our multi-energy future vision.The position is remote, and with responsibility for both North and Latin American marketing activities and exhibitions, a keen willingness for travel is a must.The role reports to the Global Head of Marketing for Alternative Fuels, with a secondary/dotted reporting line into the General Manager for Gasboy.Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Generation

Devise, plan and execute the yearly Gasboy marketing plan

Work with internal stakeholders to understand and segment target audiences and develop targeted value propositions to generate qualified leads

Manage the relationship with third party agencies, briefing campaign and content requirements and overseeing the creative process

Manage the timely and impactful execution of new product launches

Curate and maintain targeted customer lists for outbound marketing, ensuring compliance with relevant local data privacy regulations

Conduct regular industry research to identify and target new prospects and opportunities

Ensure that all campaigns are aligned to the overall business strategy and targets

Track and report on the efficacy/ROI of marketing activities in relation to defined commercial KPIs

Exhibitions & Events

Ensure the timely and quality execution of the yearly exhibition schedule for Gasboy, in accordance with the agreed marketing budget

Book, plan and execute exhibitions of various scales and locations across North and Latin America

Oversee the incorporation of Gasboy solutions at Vontier/Alternative Fuels Platform level events

Manage all logistic and admin aspects of event management before, during and after each event

Identify and co-ordinate live and virtual speaking opportunities (e.g. panel discussions, webinars, conference talks)

Ensure events are delivered on budget, tracking all leads generated to demonstrate ROI post-event

Work with the commercial team to plan the customer journey cycle and execute targeted lead nurturing campaigns to maximize conversion rates

Sales Enablement

Manage the creation and maintenance of sales tools (brochures, presentations, quoting tools, videos, etc.)

Conduct regular research to ensure sales tools remain current and relevant (i.e. industry and regulatory landscape)

Work with the Engineering and Product Management Teams to ensure materials are kept up-to-date

Co-ordinate third party localization and translation of marketing materials into requisite languages

Brand

Act as a brand guardian, ensuring Vontier and Gasboy brand guidelines are followed across all platforms and media

Ideate and develop innovative brand content for use across multiple platforms including social

Initiate PR opportunities aimed at driving thought leadership and building brand awareness

Digital Marketing

Lead on multi-touch digital marketing strategies, identifying relevant paid, owned and earned promotional opportunities to establish and maintain online visibility (to include social media, paid search, SEO)

Engage with trade media to identify and negotiate relevant advertising opportunities

Work with third party agencies to develop compelling content to drive conversions across digital platforms

Ensure Gasboy and distribution partner websites are kept up-to-date

Track website performance and implement initiatives to drive traffic and conversion rates

Internal CommunicationsCollaborate with internal communications lead(s) at Gasboy and Vontier to ensure internal visibility of marketing and commercial activitiesBackground and SkillEssential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior experience running annual marketing plans and budgets, tracking ROI and proactively applying optimizations

Demonstrable track record of creating innovative and customer-centric integrated marketing campaigns

A good eye for creative, with experience in briefing campaigns and content requirements to agencies

Digitally savvy, able to ideate, create and track effective multi-touchpoint digital campaigns

Proven strong events management skills

Experience working closely with sales organizations to develop compelling sales tools

Solid project and time management skills, with a proven track record in managing multiple and competing priorities across diverse groups of internal stakeholders

Willingness to travel (domestic and overseas, estimated 15-20% of role)

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations/PR, Business or related subject. Alternatively minimum 7 – 10 years of relevant work experience in B2B marketing.

Relevant industry experience (e.g. B2B technology, industrial manufacturing, automotive)

Experience working in a matrix and/or multi-market environment. Experience in North America and/or Europe advantageous

Experience working within Sales & Marketing organizations with multiple channels of distribution

CRM and marketing automation software skills (e.g. HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, Drupal)

Basic graphic design experience (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)

The base compensation range for this position is $94,000 to 118,000 per annum.
