The team’s primary focus is continued engineering for M&A integrations. We are looking for passionate Network Engineers who are fascinated by the technologies behind the Internet and cloud computing. The team is essential to the deployment of a consistent and stable infrastructure that both meets network engineering design standards and product goals. Our team believes that standardization and stability are key to building a scalable global network.ResponsibilitiesRecommend and implement strategic and tactical changes to network infrastructure.

Engage in large-scale data center builds with a mind towards automation; create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.

Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume.

Act as a cross-functional team member with Project Management, Infrastructure Delivery, Infrastructure Planning, Design, Operations, and Network Engineering teams to generate Method of Procedure (MOP), Budget Requests and Bill of Materials (BOM).

Perform capacity planning activities to ensure we scale our network ahead of customer demand.

Develop, document, and drive standards across the network and ensure that we are fully compliant with those standards and policies.

Perform proactive network maintenance to deliver, or modify supported services.

Provide engineering escalation support and technical expertise for network-related issues.

Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available.

Required SkillsMinimum of 5 years of IP networking experience with designing, deploying and supporting large-scale service provider, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure.

High level of proficiency and experience in configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS and OSPF in a dual-stack IPv4/6 environment with emphasis on Cisco and Juniper ecosystems.

Experience with Cisco vPC troubleshooting and configuration

Solid understanding of data center design and operational best practices. Experience with field-based work in Colocation Facilities, Internet Exchanges, or Central Offices a plus.

High level of proficiency and experience configuring and troubleshooting load balancers, with emphasis on the F5 ecosystem.

Knowledge of firewalls, access-lists, IPSec configurations, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of system performance methodologies along with hands-on empirical monitoring and data-driven decision making.

Strong analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly, while successfully handling multiple priorities.

Must work well as part of a globally distributed team in a high-energy environment

Must possess good written and verbal communication skills in English

Demonstrated ability to generate and maintain technical documentation

Must possess good time-management abilities

Desired Skills / ExperienceNetwork certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP preferred; Expert level certifications a plus.

Strong familiarity with Linux OS/networking. Administrative scripting experience with Python, Perl, and/or consuming RESTful APIs.

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar technologies.

Knowledge of revision control software (ex. Git) and development lifecycle.

Prior understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
