NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

1. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the day room, kitchen, and pantry. Help to foster and maintain an environment where all people are respected, listened to, and treated with compassion and kindness regardless of their behavior, race, gender, orientation, identity, or disability.

2. Treat all patrons with respect and compassion.

2. Make sure that everyone in the dining hall is below .1 BAL.

3. Ensure that patrons and staff voices are at a suitable indoor level.

4. Ensure that the rules of the patron handbook are being followed.

5. Abide by all the rules and regulations of TGH employee manual.

6. Ensure that the chores are done and assign extra chores as needed to accommodate patrons that could not do regular chores.

7. Assign tasks to and oversee court mandated community work service volunteers and help other volunteers as needed. Engage PATH volunteers as directed by the Outreach Coordinator.

8. Report all conflicts and irregularities to the executive director and write up all incidents and suspensions. (Executive Director) will assign the length of suspension for all suspensions over 3 days.

9. Assist volunteers with or produce a quality dinner, lunch or breakfast when volunteers are not available, following appropriate guidelines.

10. Put out a quality 3 o'clock snack.

11. Give out sack lunches and if assigned make sure that sack lunch components are created.

12. Distribute food boxes.

13. Mail duty

15. Laundry

16. Answer the phones. If you can not answer the phone, please make sure that a competent person is covering the phones for you .

17. Answer question from the public

18. Social service referrals

19. Recycling facilitation

20. Compost facilitation

21. Food-run food and food donation organization

22. Ensuring a clean and organized pantry, fridge, and freezer

23. Special projects and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

24. Conflict Resolution

25. Attend staff meetings and trainings, as assigned by the executive director.

26. Choose a non-violent movie for the 7 o'clock movie viewing.

26. Lock up the facility

28. Provision of excellent customer service at all times.

29. Forming personal relationships with patrons, including spending time with patrons outside of work, landing patrons money, having alcoholic beverages with patrons, asking patrons for unpaid personal favors may result in immediate suspension and will result in disciplinary action.

31. Work to facilitate a mindful and cohesive community at the Glory Hall
