We at Apex Lodge and Charters are looking to add another guide/captain to our team. We are a small lodge. Currently a two boat, expanding to be a three boat operation next year.
Ideally, we would like to get someone who would like to jump on this season. You would deckhand and act as a relief captain. Learn how we operate, where and how we fish, and introduce you to our guests. With a full guide position next year.
This would be a great position for anyone with a fresh captain's license (or even seasoned if you are willing to learn how we do things) who has a drive to work hard, and kill large amounts of fish on a daily basis.
We do not (usually) run deckhands. So you would need to be comfortable and willing to fish a boat, with guests, solo. This isn't a sit in the captain's chair and bark orders type of job.
Pay depends on experience, so does tip share. History fishing in the Cross Sound area would be awesome. But would be happy to train.
