Well, we're a local flower shop that specializes in everyday floral design, as well as custom designed weddings and events. As our shop is growing and changing, we are looking for talented individuals who are excited to grow with us for the long term!
Key characteristics of our ideal candidates include:
- ability to balance all aspects of a full-service flower/retail shop
- ability to multi-task, stay organized, & work independently in an efficient manner
- our fast-paced shop requires 2+ years of retail experience and floral design experience gets you ahead of the list!
Job Requirements include:
- Efficiently and productively design floral bouquets and arrangements per guidelines
- Create interior plant arrangements to the specifications of our customer
- Assist in new product design
- Maintain an organized and clean work station and department
- Record low levels of supplies, hard goods, and fresh & plant components and report to purchasing manager for replenishment
- Assist in production, preparation, and setup of containers, green containers, etc. as deemed necessary by studio manager
- Assist studio manager with any clerical needs necessary
- Perform as a strong 1st-in-charge when the studio manager is unavailable
- Continually strive to improve Frenchies floral design department
- Communicate and interact with other team members in a harmonious way
- A positive attitude and warm presence when making deliveries (customer service experience is a plus)
- The ability to work anytime between 8am-5pm during floral holidays, or 12pm-4pm for daily deliveries, up to 7 days a week.
- Appropriate, business casual clothing
- The ability to lift 50lbs or more
