Cox Environmental Services seeks a Seasonal Environmental Technician.
Job Requirements
Assist in preparing Sampling & Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Site Investigation Reports (SIRs) in accordance with ADEC Rules and Regulations.
Participate in field activities, including drilling, soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and underground storage tank (UST) closures & excavations.
Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to travel and mobilize to project locations throughout Southeast Alaska and perform work during all weather conditions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree of upper level course work toward a degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
