Responsibilities:
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs throughout their dining experience
- Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and process payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling and working with cash registers
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is advantageous
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
