Food Service Worker

Perform tasks in support of food preparation, service, and sanitation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serve meals, including delivering to patient rooms and serving food to employees and guests in the cafeteria and processes payment for meals when needed Unpack, stock and stores supplies, documenting on checklist notify appropriate staff member when there are low stock levels Clean and stock vending machines, ensuring the availability of fresh products by removing outdated items and loading fresh items Wash pots, pans, cafeteria service ware, patient trays and silverware Dispose of trash, sweep and mop floors in dish room and kitchen two times a day, and dispose of empty boxes Ensure accurate concentration of cleaning solutions in dishwashing equipment and record wash/rinse temperatures on dish machine with each use Store clean dishes, silverware and kitchen utensils in assigned locations
