SiliconExpert, a leading provider of component data intelligence and services, is on the hunt for a sharp and innovative content writer and email marketing specialist.In this role, you will be required to oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content writing, content creation, and the dissemination of copy through complex multi-touch nurture programs. As an email marketing specialist, you will also be required to collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure maximum uptake of offerings.To be successful as an email marketing specialist, you should demonstrate the ability to create accessible, engaging, and memorable content communications. Ultimately, an outstanding email marketing specialist will remain abreast of technological developments that facilitate the dissemination and monitoring of campaign features.What you will be doing- Conducting market research to better comprehend prevailing consumer pain points, needs and behaviors.
- Reviewing our former campaigns to ascertain areas of strength and weakness, which could inform subsequent outputs.
- Conceptualizing e-mail nurture persona campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective clientele.
- Creating well-written copy that is free from mistakes.
- Collaborating with graphic designers to improve the appearance layout of outputs.
- Maintaining a database of customers who have opted to receive our correspondence.
- Setting up and Distributing emails through the use of automation software.
- Monitoring and reporting on the utility of each campaign.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
- Degree in marketing management, content marketing, communications, advertising, or similar.
- Proven experience creating high-impact, unique multi-touch marketing campaigns.
- Prior database management experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Must have solid experience with at least two of the following systems: Eloqua, Marketo and Hubspot.
- Must have experience with automation software attributional analytics.
- Familiarity with pertinent automation and performance evaluation software.
- Excellent project management skills specific to marketing communications.
- Outstanding content writing and copyediting abilities with 1 to 2 years of experience content writing
- Ability to harness collaboration across multiple functional groups (such as Product Management, Sales, Product Development, and Marketing) to produce well-crafted content.
- Drive, ingenuity, and gumption.
- Must have experience and understand of why e-marketing analytics and reporting.
- Willingness to work extended hours to ensure that projects are completed, as needed.
