COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Pay range $44-$55per hour - not including pay differentials or overtime
  • Up to 60% student loan repayment via Nurse Corpswith 2-year agreement or 80% with 3-year agreement
  • $5,000-$7,500 sign on bonus and 6-7% ($5,065-$6,500) annual retention bonus
  • $10,000-$12,500 relocation assistance paid before you move plus 30 days of free housing

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Outpatient Clinic opened in 2019 with 88 exam rooms
  • 16 patients scheduled per day - average is lower
  • Quarterly visits to Native Alaska villages with a MD or FNP
  • Regional hospital serving a Native Alaskan territory the size of Oregon
  • Hospital is fully accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Required minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications by start date
  • Must have received two doses of COVID vaccination
  • Basic EKG skills and ambulatory experience are preferred
  • Experience and desire to live in a cold climate is preferred

COMMUNITY Registered Nurse (RN)

  • City only accessible by plane or boat - direct flights from Anchorage, AK available
  • Recreational activities include hunting, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, and more
  • City amenities include family-owned restaurants, cab service, work out facility, movie theater
  • There are no large trees or mountains - this is Alaskan Tundra
