Princ/Sr. Princ Cyber Architect-System Security Developers to join our Systems Engineering team within Launch Vehicles business unit at the Chandler, AZ facility for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program contingent on program award. Candidates are responsible for the secure coding and security compliance of innovative security solutions on an industry leading enterprise/embedded platform. As a security coding expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing a new approach to Cyber Security compliance through automated compliance and continuous Authority to Operate (cATO). Working as part of an experienced team you will define and create solutions that match the needs of the program that extend from a commercial cloud solution down to embedded hardware. Test implemented designs to build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning. Handle code deployments in all environments to monitor metrics and develop ways to improve. Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations. Manage Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) of both policy and technical security features within the environment. Responsibilities:
  • Implement security architectures via Security as Code (SaC).
  • Represents Security Platform in development and implementation of the overall program enterprise and embedded architecture. Works with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technical and policy control solutions and facilitates complete integration into the program environments.
  • Leads initiatives designed to share knowledge across Security Platforms and/or Technology teams. Identifies, recommends, coordinates, deliver timely knowledge to support teams regarding technologies, processes or tools. Develops and executes strategies to increase security knowledge throughout the program.
  • Strong desire to enhance Cyber Security skill sets by obtaining advanced certifications (i.e. Security+, CISSP, etc.)

This position may be offered at the Princ Cyber Architect Level 3 or Sr. Princ Cyber Architect s Level 4.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: If offered at the Princ Cyber Architect Level 3 requires:
  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
  • Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies
  • Currently possess or ability to obtain the DoD 8570-M Certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of common and industry standard authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, Encryption, etc.).
  • Experience with enterprise applications (development, support, and troubleshooting).
  • Experience representing technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and in making timely and prudent technical risk decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

If offered at the Sr. Princ Cyber Architect Level 4 requires:
  • 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
  • Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies
  • Currently possess or ability to obtain the DoD 8570-M Certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of common and industry standard authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, Encryption, etc.).
  • Experience with enterprise applications (development, support, and troubleshooting).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
  • Experience ensuring system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation.
  • Experience with DoD NIST 800-53, CMMC, and other regulatory compliance, working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions.
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
  • Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance preferred
