Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.The Consumer Collections & Servicing (CCS) team is comprised of team members responsible for all pre and post-charge-off debt collection, core servicing, credit bureau dispute resolution and reporting, and complaint management for Wells Fargo’s Card and Retail Services business, as well as the Student Loan, Overdraft DDA and Personal Lines and Loans products. This team focuses on working with customers to resolve past due balances with solutions focused on helping our customers succeed financially. Within the broader CCS organization, the CCS Specialty and Servicing team supports collection and other activities by maintaining and managing numerous consumer transaction and other maintenance processes.We are seeking an experienced leader to join the team as a Business Support Consultant 5, leading the Pre Charge-off risk and control roadmap. This person will be responsible for oversight of all Pre Charge-off risk control work partnering with other teams.Responsibilities include:Consults with management and business partners on various matters related to Pre Charge-off including overall plan, effectiveness of functions, and opportunities for the large business functions.
Works on creating a document inventory/library for audit and control reviews
Presents to management on control related recommendations to implement changes and improvements.
Utilizes thorough knowledge of the LOB's or enterprise to support and drive initiatives for the business
Establishes priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, assisting to ensure solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate
May work with key internal and/or external partners, possibly including auditors/testers, to distill complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified/targeted solutions
