- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are company-wide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing and developing iOS or Android mobile applications
- 3+ years of mobile solutions engineering experience
- 4+ years of Android development experience
- 4+ years of iOS experience
- 1+ year experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both
- Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in mobile apps, mobile payments, and wearables
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect applications to back-end services using asynchronous network calls
- Experience with Swift and/or Functional Programming
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Knowledge and understanding of application and web security
- Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis and tuning for applications
- Experience with the following patterns/technologies:
- MVVM Architecture
- Autolayout
- Danger
- RAML or Swagger API Documentation
- Legacy Objective-C code
- python (for usage in build scripts)
- Experience with build tools like xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI
- Experience with Unit, UI and Integration testing using XCTest/XCUITest
- Experience with payments technology
- Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasksExperience with consuming data from graphQL
