THE OPPORTUNITY:

Your role as the Director of Sales will have you leading a team of approximately 200 employees, consisting of sales agents, team leaders, and Sales Managers. We have a great frontline leadership team that knows how to drive revenue growth and coach a team of agents to success. You'll be joining a winning team, focusing your efforts on the continued development of our leadership team while continuing to foster a people-first culture that is aligned to our core values: Care, Get Better, Act with Integrity, and Collaboration.

Your success will come not only from your experience leading high-performing sales teams, but understanding how to lead with the heart, knowing the numbers will follow.

You will report directly to our Vice President, Sales over our lending divisions and collaborate closely on team performance and current and future initiatives.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

- DEVELOPMENT: Owns coaching, development, and performance management of Managers and Team Leads and indirect coaching, development, and performance management of Loan Consultants.

- SALES PERFORMANCE: Develops new and/or refines existing sales strategies, including an omnichannel outreach strategy to optimize success and growth.

- COLLABORATION: Partners with Loan Operations, Product, and Engineering to reduce operational friction within the loan application and processing processes

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

- 10+ years in Telesales/Call Center leadership roles with a focus on overseeing lending sales teams (auto, home, personal, etc)

- Demonstrated effective coaching and development skills at all levels within a mid-large sized team.

- Proven effectiveness as a respected leader who has built highly engaged teams in current and past roles.

- Working knowledge of loan origination, credit underwriting, and regulatory requirements

- Excellent collaborative and team-building skills

- In-depth experience in call center workforce planning, workflow analysis, process mapping, input forecasting, and organizational design

- Experience overseeing cross-channel contact strategy, including an understanding of the rules and regulations around the use of these channels in a lending sales environment

- Ability to apply continuous improvement principles to drive efficiency and performance using Agile, Six Sigma, and/or other process excellence tools

- Bachelor's degree preferred
