About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.In this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
4+ years of experience creating visual reports with one or combination of the following: SSRS, Tableau, or PowerBI
2+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
Desired Qualifications:4+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
4+ years of Autosys experience
4+ years of experience with Power BI reports, visualization dashboards and data exploration
Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
Experience with Public Cloud Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database
Knowledge and understanding of automation and engineering release development
