RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client, a growing and established company in the Chandler, AZ area is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

Summary:We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer performs the most complex and varied work; develops and recommends improvements in the Manufacturing system and in product manufacturability and cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer leads to interdisciplinary teams SMED in relevant products or processes Drives cross site improvements As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will study, analyze and design methods, procedures, processes, layouts, flow, fixtures and tooling as needed to support production Investigate, recommend, and implement manufacturing cost reduction and product improvement programs Identify root cause and corrective actions for manufacturing problem The Senior Manufacturing Engineer participates in customer specification and statement of work reviews Participate in the review and evaluation of new product designs or design changes Review and analyze design change request initiated by manufacturing personnel to determine feasibility, validity, savings, effect on design, and verify justification for change Evaluate, test and select facilities, equipment and materials required for production on conjunction with production supervision, purchasing and other groups Perform a variety of cost analyses, e.g., cost estimates for quotations or "make or buy" decisions Develop procedures and train assemblers and operators in machine operations, processes or assembly applications Coordinate with vendors and customers

REQUIREMENTS: BS or BA degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Production Management, or related field required At least 5-8+ years' experience as Manufacturing Engineer Practical application of the theories of modern production principles and methods as applied to a high technology design and manufacturing operationsExperience in an electro-mechanical environmentExperience with tooling and fixture design Knowledge of material characteristics and processing, chemicals, basic concepts of: electrical systems, mechanical systems, RF, or hybrid assembly Effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications: Master degree is a plus but not required Experience in a regulated electronic manufacturing environment
