Job Description:
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project, budget, scope and schedule management of industrial facility design and construction. The position will also involve maintaining client relationships through significant customer interaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple project engineering and construction projects as assigned.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders the progress relative to plan
  • Manage project deliverables to agreed schedule and scope
  • Manage cost estimates and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors on new construction/renovation projects
  • Work with functional leads in the areas of facility, utility, process, packaging, electrical and controls design.
  • Communicate with and build teams across multiple office locations.
  • Review designs for manufacturing systems.
  • Current building code knowledge.
  • Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • Safety in assigned areas of responsibility.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of project engineering and project management experience involving facility design. High Tech facility design ideal. Data Center work ideal.
  • Working knowledge of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and their interaction with process and packaging design.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C disciplines, and their interaction with process design.
  • Task oriented, results driven and possess measurable leadership experiences.
  • Experience with Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) engineers and designers.
  • Experience with multi-discipline large capital projects involving Owners, General Contractors, Contractors, and System Integrators.
  • Good Understanding of Design/Build (Engineering and Construction)
  • Familiar with facilities document control systems
  • Experience with as-built drawings
  • Experience with project close out: reviewing construction specifications, as-builts, O&M manuals and submittals
  • Proficient with written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, of Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited school required.

License:
  • Professional Engineering license preferred but not required.
