- BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or equivalent experience- products are primarily mechanical or electro-mechanical in nature
- Should have 5+ years' experience in Quality Engineering in manufacturing with machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, machine shop, assembly type background and know how to solve the quality problems in those areas
- Experience in R&D quality process initiatives required - including setting up and running quality processes and programs for a product line from prototype through production
- Strong experience with First Articles, Root Cause, Corrective Action, working with suppliers and customers on quality processes, audits, etc.
- Familiar with ERP systems and Solidworks
- Strong GD&T experience
- Composites a plus
- Must be adept in Excel and know v-lookups and pivot tables
