Arizona Psychology Services (APS) offers you great pay, flexible scheduling, and you being your own boss. We are a growing provider of school-based mental health counseling services with contracts within a two-hour drive of Flagstaff, AZ. APS has been in business for 25 years providing mental health counseling in rural Arizona. We are known for the great care we take with clients and subcontracted providers alike. We’re looking for people to work one or two days per week as a subcontracted counselor in a school or half-time in a mental health agency. The pay range we’re offering starts at $60 to $65 per hour, seven hours per day, for one or two days per week or $43,000 for a half-time person, plus mileage.
Requirements: (1) Licensed or certified in Arizona as an LPC, LCSW, School Counselor, LMFT or Psychologist; (2) have a reliable car and willing to drive to the Navajo or Hopi reservation; (3) interested to work as a subcontractor with the benefits and freedoms that brings; (4) have experience working with K-8 students in schools or adults in a mental health agency; (5) ability to start August, 2020; and (6) be able to pass a background check. Experience working with Native Americans is a plus.
Responsibilities: Provide mental health counseling in or near reservation schools, 7 hours per day, one or two days per week, or half-time in a mental health agency. You can choose the number of days you want to work.
