Responsibilities of a Residential Manager:
Will provide care to developmentally disabled clients in residential settings. Will monitor, evaluate and submit regular reports on client progress. Will work collaboratively with other professionals within and outside of the facility, in order to best support the needs of clients. Will work with client's families and teams to create strong support networks and to promote healthy relationships. Will maintain client files
To be successful in this position
You should have 2+ years of experience in the DD field, including individual and group programming. Have the willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends. Have strong skills in crisis management, prevention and intervention. The ability to stay calm in a variety of situations. Effective leadership skills. Adequate oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
